Oh wow, iMessage and iOS… talk about jumping through hoops! Apple seriously acts like every iPhone is a mini Fort Knox. Compare that with Android, and it’s honestly night and day—on Android, you can easily use monitoring apps like KidsGuard, Family Link, or even AirDroid’s remote features to see SMS and messaging activity (all without much drama or jailbreaking nonsense).
For iPhones, most monitoring apps (like Eyezy, mSpy, etc.) will need you to either jailbreak the device (which is a pain and voids warranties) or get access to their iCloud credentials and hope backups are working properly—that’s the only way these apps can maybe grab iMessage content. Super clunky compared to Android, where you just install, set permissions, and monitor away
.
Quick Android tip: If you’ve got an Android device in the house, try installing something like Family Link or Qustodio. You’ll get message logs, app activity, and location, all in one clean dashboard, with real-time control. Now that’s flexibility Apple users can only dream about!
