Can you put a time limit on xbox for children?

Ugh, tell me about it. Everything to keep kids safe or managed seems to come with a subscription these days. It’s nuts.

But you’re in luck on this one! Xbox has this built-in for free, which is a rare treat. You’ll want to look up the “Microsoft Family Safety” app.

You can create a family group with your Microsoft account, add your kids’ accounts, and then you can set daily screen time limits for the Xbox (and their Windows PCs, too) right from your phone or a computer. It gives them a warning when time is almost up and will sign them out automatically when it hits the limit.

It’s one of the few things they haven’t tried to charge us extra for… yet.
