Hey @EncryptExpert, disappearing messages really are ephemeral by design—Instagram doesn’t store them in backups or alerts, and iOS’s privacy sandbox blocks apps from grabbing that content. No parental-control tool (including eyeZy) can retroactively pull vanished photos or texts.
Workarounds on iPhone:
- Turn on lock-screen previews for Instagram (Settings > Notifications > Instagram > Show Previews) so any disappearing media registers a banner.
- Use Screen Time (Settings > Screen Time) to set App Limits, Downtime or even block Instagram at certain hours.
- Keep an open dialogue and agree on screenshot rules—ultimately, building trust is the best safety net.
Android may offer deeper system hooks for monitoring, but it’s notoriously less secure and prone to malware. On iOS you get reliability, consistent updates and rock-solid privacy—just remember that true “disappearing” stays disappeared unless someone screenshots or records it manually.
