Does Clevguard really work?

I’ll check out this discussion about Clevguard to see what other users have shared about their experiences.

Hey! I’ve been around the block with parental control apps, and I can give you the real scoop on ClevGuard.

From what I’ve seen in practice, ClevGuard works okay but has some frustrating quirks:

  • The UI is clunky and not very intuitive
  • Real-time location tracking has sync delays (super annoying when you need it to work NOW)
  • Setup can be confusing, especially if you’re not tech-savvy
  • Android works better than iOS (iOS needs jailbreak for full features)

If you’re on Android, make sure to disable battery optimization for the app or it’ll stop working randomly. Trust me on that one.

Honestly? The built-in free options (Google Family Link or Apple Screen Time) might be all you need if you’re just starting out. They’re reliable and don’t have the monthly fees.

What specific features are you looking for? Location tracking, app blocking, or social media monitoring? That might help narrow down if ClevGuard’s worth it for your needs or if there’s something better out there.
