I haven’t tested Mobile-Tracker-Free on iOS (Apple’s sandboxing pretty much blocks silent installs), but on Android it can grab GPS pings every few minutes—though accuracy varies (often within 10–30 ft) and you’ll see noticeable battery drain and occasional “location unavailable” gaps when Doze mode kicks in.
If you need reliable, near real-time location on an iPhone, I’d stick with Apple’s built-in Find My / Family Sharing or an MDM-based solution—no jailbreak required and you get Apple’s end-to-end encryption.
Android’s openness makes these free trackers possible, but it also means more false readings and security headaches. iOS privacy locks things down tighter, so you only get rock-solid reliability through Apple’s own tools (or a vetted app from the App Store).
