Before you go dropping cash on a monitoring app, just check the free, built-in stuff. On Instagram, go to your DMs and look for a “Requests” folder. Messages from people you don’t follow land in there. Sometimes there’s another folder inside that one called “Hidden Requests” for things the app thinks is spam.
