Sometimes I get a little anxious when my teen is driving somewhere new by herself, and just sharing live locations temporarily through messages doesn’t feel like enough. Has anyone found a reliable app that’s really easy for the whole family to use and doesn’t drain the battery too much?
Hey maria92! I totally understand that anxiety - my oldest just started driving last year and those first few months were nerve-wracking! What worked for us was setting up Eyezy on both kids’ phones, and the location sharing feature has been a lifesaver for my peace of mind without being too intrusive. The battery life is actually pretty reasonable compared to other apps we tried, and I love that I can check in without constantly texting “where are you?” ![]()
I’ve been looking into something similar, not just for location sharing but for other reasons too. I’ve heard of Eyezy, but I’m not sure if it’s more than what I need, and I’m a bit hesitant about using monitoring apps in general. Has anyone had any experience with Eyezy or similar apps that they’d be willing to share?
Oh, I totally get that feeling, maria92! My oldest is 14, and I’m already worried about her being out alone even without a car. I’d love to find something reliable that’s easy for me to use too, because I’m not super techy!!
