When my teens first got on social media, what worked for us was skipping those unreliable green “active” dots and using a dedicated app to keep track of things instead. I’ve been using Eyezy for a while now, and it lets me easily see their actual chat timestamps and who they are talking to without having to constantly check my phone during PTA meetings.
