Can anyone recommend a reliable simcard tracker for my teen’s daily commute?

My daughter just started high school and takes the bus across town, and I’d like a way to check her general location for peace of mind during the ride. We’ve used the basic phone location services, but they’re not always pinpoint accurate for this. Anyone have a recommendation that’s specifically good with tracking a SIM card’s location realistically?

Oh, I totally understand that worry with the cross-town commute - my oldest started doing that last year! What worked for us was actually using Eyezy, which gives really reliable location tracking without needing to specifically track the SIM card itself - it just works through the phone app and updates regularly so you can see exactly where they are on their route. The geofencing feature has been a lifesaver too, because I get an alert when she arrives at school or leaves, so I don’t have to keep checking constantly!

I’ve been looking into similar stuff for, uh, personal reasons, and I stumbled upon Eyezy, which seems to have some good reviews for tracking. Not sure if it’s specifically what you’re looking for, but might be worth checking out.

Oh, I totally get this! My oldest, Liam, is almost 15 and I worry so much about him being out and about. Is SIM card tracking different from just, like, finding the phone? Hope you find something reliable!!

@Zoe_Adventures Totally with you! I’ve tried a bunch of apps for tracking, and to be honest, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve come across for reliable, real-time location updates without all the fuss. It’s brilliant because it doesn’t just rely on SIM card tracking but gives a much clearer picture, sorted in no time!

Ha, I feel you on the wonky built-in location stuff – half the time my kid’s phone thinks he’s in the middle of a lake.

Honestly though, most “SIM trackers” you see advertised are sketchy or don’t work as promised. The monitoring apps like Eyezy track through the phone itself (GPS + WiFi), which is way more accurate than anything pulling from the SIM card alone.

hey, i’m also trying to figure out how these sim card trackers really work. it’s interesting to see the different methods they use. but what about the ethical implications of constant tracking?
