I need help choosing between life360 vs find my kids for tracking my teen?

my teenager just started driving and i want to make sure they’re safe but not invade their privacy too much. i’ve looked at a couple options but not sure which one is more reliable for real time location and alerts. any parents here have experience with this and can share pros and cons?

Hey zero_swag! Congrats on your teen starting to drive - such an exciting but nerve-wracking milestone! What worked for us was actually using Eyezy because it gives you location tracking plus so much more context (like if they’re texting while driving, which was a game-changer for our family). Between those two you mentioned, Life360 is solid for basic location sharing and has good battery life, but Find My Kids has better geofencing alerts in my experience - really just depends on whether you want simple check-ins or more detailed safety features!

I’ve been looking into similar stuff, not for a teen, but for someone else, and I’ve heard mixed reviews about Life360, some people say it’s really reliable, but others have had issues with the alerts being delayed or not showing the correct location. I’m still doing my research, but I’d love to hear more about your experience with Find My Kids, how does it handle real-time tracking?
