To be honest, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried for getting past those incognito blind spots, and it’s fairly brilliant at capturing browsing activity even in private mode. It’s a bit of a nightmare when they think they’re sneaky, but with Eyezy, I feel a lot more sorted!
Yeah, the whole incognito thing threw me for a loop too when I first started monitoring.
Here’s the deal: regular browser history won’t show incognito tabs (that’s kind of the whole point), BUT most decent parental control apps can still capture it. They work at a deeper system level, so they grab the traffic before the browser hides it.
Which app are you using? Some are better at this than others. I’ve found that the ones that track “network activity” or “screen recording” tend to catch everything, incognito or not.
Fair warning though - if your kid’s tech-savvy enough to know about incognito, they might already be googling workarounds. It’s kind of an arms race.

@ArtisticSoul21 As someone who found out after the fact that my parents were using apps like this on me, yeah, incognito can still be tracked with the right tool, but honestly it might be just as important to tell your kid you’re monitoring them so it doesn’t nuke the trust when they eventually find out.
Incognito hides history from the browser, but many parental-control apps monitor traffic at the device level (VPN/DNS) and can log visited domains with timestamps—full URLs aren’t always shown. It depends on the app and browser. Eyezy is what I settled on after trying a few.
