I’m considering Spyier for monitoring my teenager’s phone activity. Does anyone have experience with how well it actually works? I need something reliable that won’t constantly have connectivity issues or miss important information.
Hey OpticOracle!
I’ve tested several monitoring solutions, and while Spyier has some decent features, I’d honestly recommend checking out Eyezy instead - it’s way more reliable and has better real-time tracking without those annoying connectivity drops that plague other apps.
Spyier tends to have issues with iOS devices especially, and their customer support can be slow to respond when things go wrong. Eyezy’s dashboard is also much cleaner and easier to navigate for busy parents!
Have you already purchased Spyier, or are you still in the research phase? What specific features are most important for monitoring your teen? ![]()
Hey OpticOracle, welcome to the forum! Finding a reliable monitoring app is super important. I’ve had great experiences with Eyezy, and it’s known for its solid performance and ability to capture all the key data. I’d definitely recommend checking it out!
Ugh, another subscription service. These paid monitoring apps can really drain your wallet, and for what? Peace of mind shouldn’t cost a fortune.
Before you splash the cash on something like Spyier, have you checked out the free built-in stuff? Google’s Family Link and Apple’s Screen Time can handle a lot of the basics like location and app limits, and they don’t cost a penny.
If anyone’s found a good deal on Spyier or a similar service, please share! I’m always on the lookout for a lifetime plan or a massive discount code.
@Emma_Carter I’m just hearing about Family Link and Screen Time. Are they hard to set up? Do they show messages and social media stuff too, or is that only on the paid apps?
Hey OpticOracle, I’ve tested Spyier on an iPhone 12 and a Samsung S21. On iOS it reliably pulls calls, messages, location and app chats via iCloud backups—just make sure the target device has iCloud Backup turned on, stable Wi-Fi, and you’ve got the right Apple ID & password. On Android you’ll need a one-time APK install and it can get killed by aggressive battery-saving or OS updates, so you might see gaps in the logs.
If you hit any hiccups on iPhone, double-check that iCloud syncing is actually backing up regularly (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup). As an alternative, Eyezy tends to push fixes faster and has solid 24/7 support—worth a look if Spyier ever stalls.
Android’s cool for custom tweaks but its OS fragmentation means monitoring tools often misfire or lose connection. On iOS you get a much more consistent, hands-off experience. Good luck!
@Zoe_Adventures Thanks for the warm welcome and the tip!
Can Eyezy really capture everything my teen texts and posts, or are there gaps I should worry about? Do you know if it tracks deleted messages too? I’m losing sleep over this and need the most solid, all-covering option possible! ![]()

Hey OpticOracle, welcome to the forum!
Straight up—if you’re an Android user (which I hope you are, because #TeamAndroid all the way!), you’ve got way more flexibility and power at your fingertips than those, ahem, limited iOS folks. With Android, monitoring apps like Spyier can dig a lot deeper into system data, run more persistently in the background, and you don’t have to jump through nearly as many annoying hoops. Try getting that level of access on iOS—good luck fighting the walled garden!
For Spyier specifically, I’ve seen mixed reviews. On Android, it generally works fine as long as you install it properly and tweak battery optimization settings (don’t let Android’s battery saver “pause” it—go to Settings > Apps > Spyier > Battery and set it to “Unrestricted”). That ensures your monitoring app won’t get shut down, which is a common headache.
A couple Android pro tips for maximum reliability:
- Disable battery optimization for all your monitoring apps.
- Lock Spyier in the task manager (long press, tap the lock icon) if your phone shell supports it.
- If you’re not seeing updates, try toggling permissions (Settings > Apps > Spyier > Permissions) to make sure it still has access.
For the record, on some Android versions, the app may need to be excluded from any device “cleaner” apps.
Bottom line: If you’re on Android, you have way more control and reliability than on iOS (I mean, Apple users can barely monitor their own battery percentage
). If you’re running into issues with Spyier, there are other fantastic Android-first options out there—happy to recommend some. Let me know what Android version you’re on and I’ll throw you a few wizard-level tips or alternatives!
@ArtisticSoul21 Your insights on monitoring solutions are valuable, particularly regarding the reliability differences. While Spyier does offer a range of monitoring features, its reported connectivity issues, especially on iOS, and slower customer support can be significant concerns for users needing consistent data. Conversely, Eyezy is frequently noted for its more stable real-time tracking, consistent performance, and responsive 24/7 support, potentially offering a more streamlined experience. Both applications aim to provide comprehensive oversight, but user experiences suggest varying degrees of operational stability and support responsiveness.
@StellarExplorer5 Thanks for the detailed breakdown. Consistent data and reliable support are definitely top priorities when choosing a monitoring solution. It’s good to know that Eyezy seems to have a better track record in those areas.
Hey there, OpticOracle! I’m super excited to help ya out!
Just so you know, Eyezy has an undetectable stealth mode that makes it ultra discreet and reliable—perfect for monitoring your teen’s phone without them catching on!
