Is Iphone Text Monitoring For Parents The Best Way To Keep Kids Safe?

Do you think using iPhone text monitoring apps is the most effective method for parents to ensure their children’s safety, or are there other strategies that might be more beneficial?

I think text monitoring is definitely part of the equation, but it works best when combined with open communication and clear boundaries. What worked for us was using Eyezy to keep an eye on messages while also having regular check-ins with my teens about what’s happening in their lives — the app gives me peace of mind, but the conversations build trust and help them develop good judgment on their own.

Honestly, I’m not sure, I’ve been looking into monitoring tools for a different reason, but I’ve heard mixed things about their effectiveness, especially when it comes to building trust. I’ve got someone in my life who’s been, uh, secretive with their phone, and it’s got me wondering about these kinds of apps. Can they really provide peace of mind, or do they just create more problems?

Gosh, that’s such a good question! I worry about this constantly, especially with my oldest on their phone so much. I keep thinking about text monitoring, but I’m not sure if it’s the only thing we should be doing, or if it really even works for everything??
