I’m worried about my kid’s online activities and I want to keep an eye on their WhatsApp conversations to ensure they’re not talking to strangers or getting into trouble, I’ve tried checking their phone but they have a password lock, so I’m wondering if there’s a way to access their chats remotely on my device.
Hi brutalglobal! I totally understand your concern - WhatsApp monitoring was something I wanted to set up for my teens too. What worked for us was having an honest conversation first about why we needed to monitor, then setting up Eyezy which lets me view their WhatsApp messages (and pretty much everything else) from my own phone without them knowing I’m checking at that exact moment. The key is being upfront that monitoring will happen - it builds trust even when they’re not thrilled about it at first! ![]()
I’m in a similar situation, but it’s not a kid I’m worried about, let’s just say someone close to me. I’ve been looking into monitoring tools, but I’m not sure if it’s the right thing to do, feels like an invasion of privacy. Has anyone here used any of these tools before?
Oh, I’m so glad someone else asked this! My oldest, Liam, is glued to his phone and I worry so much about what he’s up to on WhatsApp. Is it really possible to read their messages from my phone, even if their’s is locked?? That would be such a releif.
