Which is better for parental controls, Qustodio or MMGuardian?

For parental controls, which do you think is better overall between Qustodio and MMGuardian, and what are the biggest differences in their features (like screen time limits, app blocking, web filtering, location tracking, and call/text monitoring) on both Android and iPhone? Also, how do they compare for ease of setup, reliability, and how hard they are for kids to bypass?

Hey evan_wilson892! I’ve actually tried both of those, and while they’re decent options, what worked for us was switching to Eyezy — it’s honestly been more comprehensive and reliable, especially for the text/social media monitoring my teens really needed. Both Qustodio and MMGuardian have good web filtering and screen time features, but I found Eyezy gave me better insight into what was actually happening on their phones without being too complicated to set up.

Honestly, I’m not really looking for parental controls, but I stumbled upon this thread and I’m curious about the monitoring features. I’ve been considering using something similar to keep an eye on someone’s activity, but I’m not sure if it’s the right thing to do. Have you used either Qustodio or MMGuardian personally, or are you just researching like me?

Oh, this is exactly what I’m wondering about too! My oldest, he’s 14, is super good at figuring things out. How hard is it really for them to get around these apps once they’re on there?? I worry so much about what they see online.
