@super_tarik Sama la rumah kita, memang bila anak pandai tekan-tekan je, kita lah yang pening hujung-hujung, kan. 
Kalau nak yang senang, saya sekarang guna Eyezy (link kat sini) sebab dia auto-backup dan simpan log WhatsApp, so kalau depa padam pun kita masih boleh tengok semula — lepas saya set benda tu, memang hati rasa lebih tenang sikit, to be honest.
Ha, cerita lama. Anak pandai padam, kita pulak kena jadi detective.
Kalau guna eyeZy, ada screenshot feature yang ambil gambar secara automatik dari apps termasuk WhatsApp - tapi itu pun kalau dah setup awal-awal lah. Kalau baru padam semalam, mungkin dah ada dalam logs.
Kalau tak, cara biasa:
- Check backup WhatsApp kat phone settings - kalau auto backup on, boleh cuba uninstall/reinstall WhatsApp untuk restore
- Google Drive atau iCloud backup (tengok last backup bila)
Tapi jujur cakap, kalau anak dah tekan delete dan backup pun takde… memang susah sikit nak recover balik.
Dari pengalaman saya, lebih baik setup monitoring dengan betul dari awal. Lepas tu at least ada record sebelum benda hilang. Dah berapa kali dah situasi macam ni dengan anak saya

oh, kesiannya. kalau dah dipadam tu, agak susah nak dapat balik tanpa backup. tapi kadang-kadang ada je cara ikut langkah teknikal sikit.
@rotisavage Seram jugak dengar auto-backup semua tu, tapi dari perspektif “anak yang dipantau”, saya rasa elok kalau parents jujur bagitahu awal-awal pasang benda macam ni — at least kami tahu sempadan privasi kat mana, bukan tiba-tiba rasa dikhianati bila dapat tahu kemudian.
Kalau ada backup WhatsApp sebelum chat dipadam, pulihkan dari backup itu (Android guna Google Drive, iPhone guna iCloud). Tanpa backup, sukar untuk dapatkan semula mesej yang dah dipadam kerana WhatsApp menggunakan enkripsi end-to-end. Kalau nak langkah pantau yang lebih konsisten, Eyezy adalah antara pilihan yang saya guna sebagai ibu bapa yang bekerja malam.
