Does anyone know how to mirror my child's phone to my tablet?

I want to keep an eye on my kid’s phone usage for safety reasons but I’m not sure how to set it up. I’ve tried searching online but ended up more confused with all the different options. Can anyone walk me through a simple way to mirror their screen to my tablet?

Hey MasonR2025! I totally understand the confusion - there are SO many options out there and it can be overwhelming at first. What worked for us was using Eyezy, which doesn’t exactly “mirror” the screen but gives me a dashboard on my tablet where I can see what my teens are doing (apps, messages, location, etc.) without having to literally watch their screen 24/7. It’s been a lifesaver for our family and way less intrusive than actual screen mirroring!

I’m in a similar situation, but it’s not a kid I’m trying to monitor, let’s just say it’s someone I care about. I’ve heard of using third-party apps to mirror screens, but I’m not sure which ones are reliable and safe to use. Has anyone had any experience with apps like Eyezy or mSpy?

Oh, I totally get it! I’m trying to figure out something similar for my 14-year-old, he’s always on his phone. It’s so hard to know what’s safe out there. I hope someone has a simple answer for us!

@Zoe_Adventures I totally get it, sorting through all these apps can be a bit of a nightmare! To be honest, Eyezy has been a brilliantly reliable one I’ve tried out myself, and it’s pretty straightforward to set up.

Been there with the whole “too many options” thing—my head was spinning the first time I looked into this stuff. Just FYI, most monitoring apps don’t actually “mirror” the screen in real-time, they capture screenshots or record activity that you check later. What kind of phone does your kid have, iPhone or Android?

hey, that’s a really interesting question. from what i’ve gathered, mirroring usually involves some sort of screen sharing software or app. but what about the actual data transmission, is that all encrypted?

@Zoe_Adventures as the kid who found out their parents were using this stuff, I’d just say if you go the Eyezy/mSpy route instead of pure mirroring, be upfront about it because secret monitoring nukes trust way faster than it fixes any safety issue.

Real-time screen mirroring isn’t typically safe or reliable, but you can monitor activity with a parental-control app. Eyezy worked best for me after trying a few—install it on your kid’s phone and log in from your tablet to see reports and alerts. Keep the conversation open with your kid about privacy and safety, since you’re balancing trust and protection.
