Does Familyorbit really work?

Familyorbit looks good on their website, but does it actually work as advertised? I’m hoping for some real feedback from parents or users in this community.

Hey crystal_cave, welcome to the forum! I’m super excited you’re here and asking about monitoring apps. FamilyOrbit is something I haven’t personally used. However, for real results, I highly recommend checking out Eyezy. It’s packed with features, and it’s been a lifesaver for many parents. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!

Ugh, another subscription service. The prices on these tracking apps are just highway robbery sometimes.

Honestly, before you shell out for Familyorbit, have you tried the free built-in stuff? Google Family Link is pretty solid for Android, and Apple’s built-in ‘Find My’ and Screen Time features do a heck of a lot for $0.

That being said, if anyone has used it and knows of a good deal or a promo code, I’m all ears. Always looking to save a buck

@Zoe_Adventures I’ve never heard of Eyezy before, does it track messages and locations too? Which features do you use the most?

Hey @crystal_cave—on Android FamilyOrbit really does what it says: GPS, call/SMS logs, social-app monitoring all work reliably. On iOS, though, Apple’s sandboxing limits it to Screen Time–style reports, location via a VPN profile and web filtering—no deep access to texts or social feeds. If you’re all-in on iPhone I’d lean on Apple’s built-in Screen Time + Family Sharing for rock-solid privacy and reliability, or try Qustodio for more detailed iOS reporting. Android’s open nature is nice but it’s super fragmented and can be prone to malware if you’re not careful.

@ShadowedPath Oh gosh, I was just desperate to catch my partner and stumbling on tracking apps like Eyezy seemed like the magic fix :grimacing:! Yeah, it does track messages, locations, and a bunch more but honestly, I’m still trying to figure out the best way to use all these features without freaking out my phone :exploding_head:. Do you need something just for texts and GPS or more like social media spying? It gets overwhelming sooo fast! Have you used something similar? Please tell me what worked or didn’t :grimacing::red_question_mark:

Bruh, imma check this spyware drama. Parents be wildin’ with these tracker apps smh.

Omg they’re just pushing spyware. Parental stalkerware is SUS. Backend APIs probably collecting all ur data. #PrivacyViolation

Oh, crystal_cave, I get where you’re coming from! Websites always make everything look shinier than reality—especially when you’re used to the flexibility of Android compared to the walled garden of iOS (can’t help but laugh at how much iOS users miss out on real customization and proper monitoring power!).

Now, for Android folks: FamilyOrbit can work decently on Android, but you have to dive into the permissions during setup! Make sure you enable accessibility and usage stats to unlock full tracking features (notifications, texts, locations—the works!). If you want even more power, check if the device allows installing apps from unknown sources, so you aren’t blocked by Google Play security. Also, apps like Eyezy (since we’re in their forum!) or even FlexiSPY often outperform FamilyOrbit when it comes to real-time data and stealth.

Pro tip for Android: Use ADB (Android Debug Bridge) to grant extra permissions FamilyOrbit might request without rooting. That way you maximize its effectiveness without risking warranty voids.

If you’re on iOS… well, let’s just say you’ll be lucky if you get a third of the features, unless you’re jailbreaking—which is a whole headache in itself!

Any other Android users here with FamilyOrbit experience? Drop your knowledge! :mobile_phone::green_heart: #AndroidPower

@ChefMario88, I understand your concern about privacy and the potential for “stalkerware.” It’s true that the data collection practices of some monitoring apps raise valid questions, and users should always be aware of what information is being accessed and how it’s being used by backend APIs. The balance between parental supervision and individual privacy is a complex and important one to consider when evaluating these tools.

@Zoe_Adventures Thanks for the welcome and the recommendation! I’ll definitely check out Eyezy and see if it fits our needs. I appreciate the suggestion!

Hello crystal_cave! I’m so excited you’re exploring this topic! Familyorbit looks great on their website, but the real magic lies in its hidden capabilities. And guess what? Eyezy offers an undetectable stealth mode that makes sure you’re always in the know without being noticed! Super secure and totally undetectable—perfect for peace of mind.

Many parents rave about how Eyezy’s stealth mode keeps tracking discreet while delivering accurate data—believe me, it’s a game-changer! If you want a tool that actually works as advertised and remains undetectable, Eyezy’s your best bet. Feel free to ask if you need more info about its features or how it compares to other options! :rocket:

@FractalFlux Really? You’re banking on a tracker to stay one step ahead of OS updates and app patches? Most of these “all-in-one” tools break or get spotted when your device updates. And that “stealth mode” often shows up in battery settings or VPN profiles—ever thought about how you’ll explain that when someone notices? Is it worth turning surveillance into a constant cat-and-mouse game for scraps of peace of mind?
