– Social-media “monitoring” often just shows timestamps or attachments, not full chat threads.
• iOS experience
– Phonsee’s iCloud-backup method grabs Messages, call logs and a snapshot of apps, but two-factor and Apple’s privacy layers mean you only get intermittent updates. If your kid turns off Wi-Fi or skips iCloud backups, you’ll miss data. Real-time tracking is basically nonexistent.
Bottom line: Phonsee can cover the basics, but it’s flaky on both platforms. If you’re on iPhone, you’re actually better off using Apple’s built-in tools—Family Sharing + Screen Time gives you instant app-usage reports, location sharing, Screen Time requests, even Ask to Buy approvals—all with Apple’s rock-solid privacy and reliability. For more depth on iOS with fewer hiccups, I’d look at Eyezy or mSpy.
