Has anyone found how to check tiktok activity remotely?

I’m trying to keep an eye on my kid’s TikTok usage without having to ask them all the time, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to see their activity remotely. I’ve looked into some apps but not sure which actually work for TikTok. Has anyone figured out a reliable method?

Hey Mark7! I totally get it - TikTok can be tricky because kids can spend hours on there without realizing it. What worked for us was using Eyezy, which lets me see app activity including TikTok time, and I can even check what they’re searching for without having to constantly ask them to hand over their phone. It’s been really helpful for keeping tabs while still giving them some privacy and independence!

I’ve been looking into similar stuff, not for a kid, but for someone else, and it’s tricky to find something that actually works without being too invasive. I’ve heard of Eyezy, which is actually the platform hosting this forum, and it supposedly has social media monitoring features, but I haven’t tried it out myself yet.

Oh, I totally get it, Mark7! My 11-year-old is glued to TikTok and I worry so much about what she’s seeing. I’ve looked at apps too but it’s all so confusing. I really hope someone has a good idea!

Absolutely, @Zoe_Adventures, I agree — Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried and it sorts out the whole monitoring thing without being a bit of a nightmare. It’s brilliant for keeping a check while respecting some privacy, to be honest!

Yeah, TikTok’s a tricky one. Most monitoring apps will show you screen time and maybe catch screenshots, but actually seeing what they’re watching or posting? That’s harder to pull off without basically having the phone in your hands.

Eyezy’s supposed to capture social media activity, but honestly I’ve had mixed results with TikTok specifically - it’s not like texts where everything shows up clean. The app updates constantly and breaks monitoring features.

Best luck I’ve had is just the old-fashioned screen time limits and occasional check-ins. Not the answer you’re looking for, I know. What’s the main concern - time spent or content they’re seeing?

hey, interesting question about tracking tiktok activity remotely. i’ve been curious about how these monitoring apps actually get access to that kind of data. but what about the privacy implications of doing that?

FractalFlux honestly as the kid who found out after the fact, the sneaky tracking felt way worse than any actual rule—if parents are upfront and keep it about safety not spying, it lands way better and doesn’t nuke the trust.
