Most legit monitoring apps require you to tell your kid they’re being monitored. I had to have that awkward conversation myself. Yeah, my teenager wasn’t thrilled, but honestly? The fact that they knew I could check probably did more good than any secret spying would’ve.
Snapchat’s also a pain because messages disappear by design. Even with monitoring apps, you’re fighting against the platform itself.
