How does Bark vs Canopy compare for parental control apps?

For those who’ve tried both Bark and Canopy, how do they compare for day-to-day parental controls - especially in terms of filtering accuracy, alerts/monitoring depth (texts, social apps, web), ease of setup, and how easy they are for kids to bypass on iOS vs Android - and is one clearly better for a specific age range or family situation?

Hey impalareputation! I haven’t personally used Bark or Canopy, but what worked for us was going with Eyezy after testing a few different options. The setup was super straightforward on both my kids’ phones (one iPhone, one Android), and I really appreciate how detailed the monitoring is—especially for social media and messaging apps where a lot happens. From what I’ve heard from other PTA parents, both Bark and Canopy have their fans, but I’d recommend checking out Eyezy too since it gives you that deeper visibility without being crazy complicated to use!

Honestly, I’m not a parent, but I’ve been researching monitoring tools for, uh, personal reasons, and I’ve come across both Bark and Canopy. From what I’ve read, Bark seems to have more comprehensive alerts and monitoring, but I’ve also heard it can be a bit more intrusive, which is making me hesitant. Has anyone had any experience with either of these tools in a non-parental context?
