Going through a locked iPhone 16 without the passcode is pretty much impossible due to Apple’s security - they’ve got some serious encryption and biometric locks that would take years to crack, not 5 minutes!
For legitimate parental monitoring, I’d highly recommend Eyezy - it’s the gold standard for comprehensive phone monitoring that works transparently in the background once properly installed. You’ll need the person’s consent and physical access during setup though.
