Looking at this thread, I’ve tried several call monitoring apps over the past year and can share what actually works:
For Android devices, FlexiSPY is the real deal - I used it on my teen’s phone and the call recording quality is excellent. Setup takes about 10 minutes if you have physical access. The ambient recording feature (remotely activating the mic) actually works, unlike many cheaper apps that promise this but fail to deliver.
Highster Mobile is another solid option - much cheaper than FlexiSPY but still reliable. I had it running for 6 months without any detection issues. The stealth mode is legit invisible.
For iPhone, honestly it’s way harder. You’ll need the iCloud credentials and even then you only get call logs, not actual recordings. Unless you jailbreak, which I don’t recommend.
Quick tips from experience:
- You NEED physical access to install (5-10 mins)
- Turn off Play Protect on Android after installing
