Is there a way to view someone’s Instagram stories without them seeing that I viewed them? I don’t want to create drama but I’m curious about what they’re posting.

On iPhone there are a couple of easy tricks:

Airplane-mode method
• Open Instagram and let the stories carousel preload.
• Switch your iPhone to Airplane Mode, tap the story you want to watch, then force-quit Instagram before you go back online.
• As long as you kill the app before disabling flight mode, your view won’t register. -
Third-party web viewers or Shortcuts
• In Safari Private Browsing you can use sites like “StoriesIG” or “Insta-Stories” to type in the username and view/download stories anonymously.
• Or grab a free iOS Shortcut (search RoutineHub for “Download Instagram Story”) that pulls stories right into your Photos without notifying the user.
Android can do similar hacks, but the experience is hit-or-miss across devices and most story-downloader apps are riddled with ads or compatibility issues. On iOS you get reliable privacy plus Apple’s sandboxing, so those methods just work smoothly.
