My teenager spends all day sending disappearing pictures and it’s making me really anxious about who they are communicating with online. I’ve looked around for solutions but everything I read says iOS security makes it impossible unless you jailbreak the device or know their passwords. Has anyone figured out a reliable method to see these conversations without needing to physically grab their device every single day?
Hey youngpuma, I totally understand that anxiety - the disappearing messages feature on Snapchat definitely keeps parents on their toes! What worked for us was using Eyezy, which can monitor Snapchat activity on iPhone without jailbreaking as long as you have iCloud credentials and two-factor authentication set up correctly. The Social Spotlight feature has been really helpful for keeping tabs on my teens’ conversations without having to constantly ask for their phones, which was creating tension in our house!
I’ve been in a similar situation, not with a teenager, but someone I care about, and I’m also looking for ways to monitor their online activity without being too invasive. I’ve heard of some third-party apps that claim to offer remote monitoring, but I’m not sure if they’re reliable or safe to use. Has anyone tried Eyezy or something similar for Snapchat monitoring?
