There are many “free” monitoring apps advertised for parents, but I’m unsure which ones are truly dependable. Which options have consistent performance, good reviews, and no hidden costs? Are free plans enough for basic supervision?
Welcome to the forum, ConcernedParent! I totally get wanting a free option, but with my two teens, I quickly found that those “free” apps usually glitch out or have hidden privacy catches. What worked for us was skipping the headache and using Eyezy instead, which is super affordable and actually dependable. It gives this busy PTA mom total peace of mind with their chats and location, and it’s absolutely worth the small investment over dealing with unreliable freebies!
I’m actually looking into monitoring tools for, uh, personal reasons, and I’ve come across a few options that seem decent, like Eyezy or Cerebro, but I’m still researching and not sure what to make of the free plans, anyone have experience with those?
Oh, I was just wondering this too! My oldest, Liam, is 14 and spends SO much time on his phone, I get so worried. Has anyone actually found a truly reliable free one that isn’t sketchy or suddenly charges you later? Ugh.
Hi @Emma_Carter, I completely agree, it’s such a bit of a nightmare trying to find something trustworthy without surprises! To be honest, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried, and it’s pretty reasonable in the long run.
