I’ve been using eyeZy for about a year now with my 15-year-old when he’s at his mom’s. Works on both platforms, though iPhone setup requires a bit more gymnastics with iCloud credentials. The location tracking is solid – updates pretty regularly without killing the battery like some apps I tried before.
Couple things from my experience: “stealth mode” is kind of a sliding scale. On Android it can run pretty quietly, but on iPhone there’s always some trail if your kid goes looking. Also, the real question is whether you’re telling them about it or not. I’m in the “they know I can check” camp, which honestly makes my life easier.
Battery drain has been fine – maybe 5-10% more per day? Not enough that my kid’s noticed or complained.
