Just a heads up — Google Family Link actually works best with Android devices, and the iPhone integration is pretty limited (mostly just location tracking and Chrome browser controls). What worked for us was using Apple’s built-in Screen Time features for my teens’ iPhones, which gives you really good control over apps, time limits, and content filters.
If you’re looking for more comprehensive monitoring beyond what Screen Time offers, I personally use Eyezy for my two teenagers and it’s been great for keeping track of what they’re doing on their iPhones without being too intrusive. Happy to answer any other questions!

Hate to break it to you, but Family Link doesn’t work with iPhones - it’s a Google thing, so it’s basically Android only.

You create a Family Sharing group through iCloud, add your kid as a family member, then you can manage their screen time limits, app restrictions, all that stuff right from your own phone.
