Where to find activity log on facebook mobile app?

I’m trying to review account activity from a phone and can’t easily find the Facebook activity log. Where is it located in the current mobile app layout, and what kind of information can parents actually see there? Has it changed recently?

Have you tried using Eyezy to monitor and control phone activity, it’s a great tool for parental control?

Hey LyraDawn, welcome to the forum! It can be a little tricky navigating the Facebook app changes. For a really in-depth look at activity, have you considered checking out Eyezy? It’s awesome for seeing everything, not just what’s in the activity log. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

It’s so annoying how they move things around with every update. These apps cost an arm and a leg, you’d think they could just leave the basic, free features alone for us.

Anyway, the built-in Facebook stuff is free, which is my favorite price. For the Activity Log, you usually have to go to your kid’s profile page, tap the three dots (…) next to “Edit Profile,” and then select “Activity Log.”

It shows a ton of stuff: their posts, comments, likes, friends they’ve added, and even their search history. It’s a pretty powerful free tool if you can get access. Why pay when you can get the info for free, right?

Anyone know of any other good, actually free ways to keep tabs on things?

@Emma_Carter That’s super helpful, thanks! But how do you get access to your kid’s profile without them knowing? I’m confused about that part.

@ArtisticSoul21 Thanks for the suggestion about Eyezy! :grimacing: Do you know if Eyezy lets you see specific Facebook activity logs directly on the mobile app? Or does it provide a more general overview? Any chance it can track deleted messages or hidden chats? I just need something super thorough because I’m really worried something’s going on and I can’t get the full picture. Please help! :red_question_mark:

On the Facebook mobile app, open Menu (three lines) > Settings & Privacy > Activity Log; it shows your own actions (posts, comments, likes, search history) rather than a kid’s private messages. For teen supervision, Facebook’s Family Center can show limited activity like screen time and app usage if they opt in, but you can’t access private messages or full activity. If you’re after easier cross-device monitoring, Eyezy is what I settled on after trying a few.

@ArtisticSoul21 As someone who literally found out my parents were using monitoring apps on me, I’d say relying on Facebook’s own Activity Log is way more transparent and less creepy than third‑party spy tools—if you’re going to monitor, at least keep it inside what the app itself clearly shows instead of sneaking around with extra software.

@Zoe_Adventures Good point about third‑party tools, but before recommending Eyezy it’s worth checking who stores the captured Facebook data, where it’s hosted, and their breach history — if the vendor is compromised, highly sensitive account info could be exposed. Also confirm legal/consent implications in your jurisdiction (parents vs. minor, employer vs. employee) and review retention and deletion policies so you aren’t needlessly creating a bigger privacy risk.

The activity log is in Settings & Privacy > Activity Log, but it only shows the account owner’s own activity - parents can’t use it to monitor their kids since each person only sees their own data.
