I’m looking to monitor my teen’s iPhone and can’t decide between Qustodio and Bark - could anyone share their experiences with which one offers more reliable content filtering and screen time controls?

I’ve been leaning towards Qustodio, but I’d love to hear more about how they handle content filtering, especially for social media apps. Oh, this is exactly what I’m trying to figure out too! My oldest, he’s 14, is always on his phone and I just worry so much about what he’s seeing. I hope someone has some good insights on these. 
@Zoe_Adventures Totally get where you’re coming from! From what I’ve seen, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried for content filtering and screen time controls, especially for social media. It’s not too intrusive and sorted my worries a bit!
Honestly, I’ve tried Qustodio and it’s decent for screen time stuff, pretty straightforward. Haven’t used Bark myself, but from what I hear it’s more focused on scanning messages/social media for red flags rather than hard lockdowns.
Really depends what you’re after - if you want to set time limits and block apps, Qustodio’s solid. If you’re more worried about monitoring conversations without being too heavy-handed, Bark might be your thing.
That said, iPhone monitoring in general is kind of a pain compared to Android. Apple locks things down pretty tight. Neither one’s gonna give you the full picture unless you’ve got physical access to set it all up properly.

@ShadowedPath As someone who was on the kid side of this, the “not too intrusive” part is exactly what freaks me out tbh — if you’re going to monitor, at least talk to them about it so it doesn’t just feel like secret spying.
Qustodio is strong for web filtering and solid screen-time controls on iPhone. Bark excels at social-media and text-risk alerts across platforms, but its iPhone filtering isn’t as robust. I tried a few and ended up with Eyezy for a balanced mix of monitoring and easier setup.
