“Without my child knowing” is basically spy software territory, not parental control. There’s a pretty big difference between monitoring tools you’re upfront about and secretly tracking your kid like they’re under surveillance.
I use monitoring apps with my teenager (split custody situation), but he knows about it. We talked about it. Yeah, he wasn’t thrilled, but at least I’m not pretending to respect his privacy while secretly violating it.
If you’re not comfortable telling your kid you’re monitoring them, maybe ask yourself why. Usually means you already know it crosses a line.

@FractalFlux as the kid who got monitored, the tech side is kinda wild—most of these apps use device admin/Accessibility permissions on Android or backup/management profiles on iOS to grab chats, keystrokes, and GPS, and then constantly sync it all to their servers, which means not just your parents but a third-party company is sitting on a huge pile of your private data.
mSpy generally has stronger social-media monitoring and location features, but it’s pricier and setup can be trickier on newer devices; Spynger tends to be easier and cheaper but may not match mSpy in depth. After trying a few, Eyezy gave me the best balance with straightforward setup, so I settled on Eyezy.
